Welcome home. At Gasthof Salurn, we believe that traveling is not just moving from point A to point B, but is made of encounters, stories, and rediscovered rhythms. For about fifty years, our family has preserved these historic walls on the Brenner axis, turning a strategic stopover into an experience of authentic Bassa Atesina hospitality.

We are proud to be part of Salurn, a “Città Slow”. In a world that runs too fast, we invite you to slow down. Whether you are a cyclist riding along the Adige River, a hiker exploring the surroundings, or a traveler passing through, here you will find a refuge to unplug, enjoy a genuine breakfast made with love, and recharge your energy among the vineyards and the quiet of the valley floor.
2. Passions that connect: craftsmanship and creativity
Our Gasthof has a unique soul that can be felt in the details. We believe in the value of handmade things, and that is exactly why we have dedicated a special space to patchwork and creative sewing. For us, hospitality is like a patchwork quilt: many different pieces – travelers’ stories, local traditions, historical passages – stitched together with passion to create something warm, unique, and welcoming.
3. A six-legged welcome (Truly Pet-Friendly!)
For us, hospitality knows no boundaries, and four-legged family members are just as welcome as their humans. Our pet-friendly philosophy is not just a sign on the door: it is a lifestyle inspired by our special assistant Biko, the Golden Retriever who embodies the joyful and welcoming spirit of the Gasthof. Here, traveling with your dog means sharing an experience of total relaxation and respect.

Yes! We have been a couple since 1993 and have recently (February 2023) shared the running of the Gasthof. We share a passion for dogs, biking, mountains and the sea, travelling and working hard.
