📍 Where is Gasthof Salurn located?

We are located in the heart of Salorno’s historic center, in a peaceful and charming setting – right on the border between South Tyrol and Trentino.
It’s the perfect base for exploring both the natural landscapes and the towns of the region.
The village is well connected by public transport and offers an authentic atmosphere, far from mass tourism.

🕓 What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is possible from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. If you plan to arrive earlier or later, please let us know in advance – we’ll do our best to arrange your arrival or activate the self check-in.
Check-out is by 10:00 AM, giving you a relaxed departure and allowing us the time to thoroughly clean the room for the next guests.


🍽️ Do you offer breakfast?

Yes, every morning we serve a generous buffet breakfast with homemade, local, organic and seasonal products.
You’ll find freshly baked bread, homemade cakes and jams, fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cuts, cheese, and much more.
💡 If you have allergies, intolerances, or special dietary needs, please inform us in advance – we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

🥾 What can I visit nearby?

Just a short walk from the hotel, you’ll find:

  • the Salorno waterfall, surrounded by nature,
  • the Haderburg castle, dramatically perched on a rock,
  • the Adige cycling path, also ideal for walking,
  • scenic trails through vineyards, apple orchards, and authentic villages.

We are also a short drive from Bolzano, Trento, Lake Caldaro, the Val di Fiemme, and many other destinations perfect for day trips.

🛏️ Are the rooms customizable?

Yes! Upon request, we can arrange the room with separate single beds, joined double beds, an extra third bed, single use, or even a baby cot for the little ones.
We also offer spacious family rooms, ideal for guests traveling with children.
Please let us know your preferences at the time of booking – we’ll do our best to provide you with the most suitable accommodation.

🚗 Where can I park?

We have 4 private parking spaces located right next to the hotel.
Additionally, you’ll find comfortable, free public parking options just a few steps away:

  • directly in front of the hotel,
  • in Via Orti (also suitable for larger vehicles or motorcycles),
  • or behind the Sant’Andrea church.

All parking areas are easily accessible.

🚲 Where can I store my bicycle?

We provide a covered, secure, and easily accessible area to store your bikes – ideal for those cycling along the Adige route or traveling in a group.
🔌 E-bike charging is also available upon request.

🚪 Is there an elevator?

No, our building is historical and does not have an elevator. The rooms are spread over multiple floors.
If you have limited mobility or specific needs, please contact us – we’ll find the best solution for you.

🍽️ Where can I have dinner?

You can have dinner at the restaurant connected to the hotel, which is managed separately.
It offers a simple and tasty cuisine, based on seasonal and local ingredients.
The restaurant is closed on Thursdays, but there are other dining options nearby.
If you wish, you can add dinner to your booking, or enjoy it on-site and pay directly at the restaurant.

🎫 What is the Guest Card?

The Guest Card is included in your stay and offers:

  • free travel on buses, regional trains, and selected cable cars,
  • discounted or free admission to museums and castles,
  • discounts on many activities and attractions in the area.

It’s the ideal way to discover South Tyrol in a convenient, sustainable, and affordable way.

💡 What is the self check-in and how does it work?

If you’re arriving outside regular check-in hours, you can take advantage of the self check-in:

  • We’ll send you a link to register your documents online,
  • On the day of arrival, you’ll receive access and can check in independently from 2:00 PM.

This practical solution is especially convenient for guests arriving by bike or public transport with flexible schedules.

📶 Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and common areas.
The connection is stable, making it suitable for working remotely or staying connected during your trip.
